Smith College — Seelye Hall Classroom Renovation
Smith College has recently completed a survey of classroom usage and developed a teaching and learning space master plan to improve classrooms across campus. Boston-based Sasaki Associates has been hired a consultant for this important project.
Seelye Hall Room 106 was a pilot project for the new classroom improvement master plan. KBI was hired as a CM to work with the design team and stakeholders throughout project development and into construction. This complex project involved selective demolition, updating mechanical, electrical, A/V, and lighting systems, millwork, and acoustical performance improvements. The professional construction team was aligned throughout the project and worked together to solve numerous technical challenges.
