The Red Gate Farm Educational Center added two energy-efficient buildings: a 3,900 SF timber-framed program building with a gathering area and attached support wing housing a commercial kitchen, pantry, restrooms, office, and partial basement for MEP and storage; and a 3,300 SF winterized dormitory with 11 bedrooms, bathrooms, storage, and a full walk-out basement with sprinkler tanks and MEP systems. Sustainable features include solar panels and a wood-fired furnace for heating.
