Pre-construction
The first step in any successful home building effort is to complete a comprehensive and thorough pre-construction phase. As part of this process, we become your partner, working collaboratively to create a project budget and construction schedule in tandem with the project design and specifications.
Typically, the pre-construction team consists of you (the client), your designer, and Keiter Homes. We can suggest a designer, or we’re happy to work with the designers you’ve selected. We act as the prime movers of the process, and the pre-construction schedule is determined based on the complexity and scope of the project under consideration. Our objective is to keep your design intent in line with budget.
The overarching goal as we work through the four phases of pre-construction is to decrease the number of items that are speculative or unclear. As the design, specifications, and pricing become more defined and concrete, the level of risk and uncertainty decreases. This helps to ensure successful and predictable outcomes for the project.

General Contracting

To ensure control of every step of the process, we have our own excavation, site work, and structural concrete division, providing you with better costs and quality control during those phases of construction.
Construction Management
At Keiter Homes, our focus is on open, respectful communication with our clients and the successful completion of our projects within the cost and timeline parameters. To ensure the process moves seamlessly, and that our homeowners remain fully in the loop and connected at every phase, we assign a dedicated project manager and site supervisor to expertly coordinate and manage every step.
